1. Eligibility

The Online Courses are available to registered users of brookscourses.top who are either:

  • Students participating in academic or training courses hosted on the platform.
  • Instructors or content creators authorized to create, administer, or manage quizzes for Kenyan Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) who should be practicing teachers in Kenyan schools.

2. User Accounts

To use the website:

  • You must create and maintain an account with accurate, current, and complete information.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

3. Use of the Brooks CBC Online Courses Website

3.1 For Instructors:

  • Create quizzes, set grading parameters, manage Q&A section, and responses.
  • Ensure all content is original and appropriately crafted from the curriculum designs.
  • Do not post unlawful or infringing material or any material that is beyond the learner’s scope as per the age bracket and grade.

3.2 For Students:

  • Access and complete assigned quizzes honestly.
  • Avoid cheating or unauthorized sharing of quiz content with peers or school mates. If that activity is evident, then you shall lose your account and all your courses will be revoked.

4. Intellectual Property

All content created within the Brooks Online CBC Courses Website remains the intellectual property of its creator unless otherwise specified. However:

  • You grant brookscourses.top a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and display your content on the platform.
  • You may not copy or distribute others’ content without permission.

5. Prohibited Conduct

  • No use of the brookscourses.top website for harmful, fraudulent, or illegal activities.
  • No bypassing of security or unauthorized access.

6. Instructor Loyalty Program and Revenue Sharing

6.1 Revenue Sharing Model

Instructors participating in monetized quizzes are eligible for revenue sharing as follows:

  • 10% of total proceeds are deducted for website maintenance.
  • The remaining 90% is split:
    • 70% to the Instructor.
    • 30% to Brooks CBC Online courses website management.
Example:
If a course earns KSh 1,000:
– KSh 100 is deducted for maintenance
– KSh 900 is shared:
— Instructor earns KSh 630
— brookscourses.top management  earns KSh 270

6.2 Payout Schedule

  • Earnings are credited monthly, subject to a payout threshold.
  • Payouts are made through approved channels and may include transaction fees.

7. Data Privacy

We process user data per our Privacy Policy. Quiz performance data may be recorded for educational improvement.

8. Termination and Suspension

  • brookscourses.top may suspend or terminate accounts for violating these Terms and conditions set.
  • Content that violates laws or standards may be removed and account closed.

9. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided “as is.” We are not liable for data loss, errors in quizzes, or indirect damages.

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Notifications will be issued for major changes.
